Ekwan-X Inc. Announces Major Ground Truthing Project

TORONTO, Apr 13, 2005 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- Ekwan-X (Pink Sheets:EKWX) is pleased to announce it has planned a major ground truthing program to begin next month in the southern half of the State of Nevada. Ekwan-X has completed a study of approximately 100,000 sq km of satellite and geological data and has identified 94 high priority target sites. Commencing next month Ekwan-X will begin examining these sites for follow-up airborne testing.

Ekwan-X believes there is a high probability of making a significant mineral discovery utilizing our hyperspectral instrument. This instrument will allow Ekwan-X to examine these targets in a fraction of the time conventional techniques require.

An economic mineral discovery would have an enormous impact on Ekwan-X, several mineral discoveries in State of Nevada are valued in the billions of dollars.
